Internal Community Service Monitoring and Evaluation (PKM) for Lecturers Period II 2020

Pekanbaru, LPPM: In the situation of the Covid 19 pandemic, the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of the Islamic University of Riau (UIR) held another internal Community Service Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) for lecturers which lasted for two days from the 6th -7 April 2021, which will be held online.

This internal Community Service Monitoring and Evaluation (PKM) activity for lecturers for period II 2020 is a mandatory activity for LPPM each period as a lecturer’s responsibility for the implementation of their service activities, where for this period each lecturer reports the results of their service via an online system.

In the second period of Monev, the participants numbered around 73 Community Service (PKM) lecturers, out of 156 lecturers who took part in the second period of 2020 PKM.

This monitoring and evaluation must be followed by all researchers and service providers, because they can find out information on the extent of the achievements of lecturers’ internal research and service programs that have been implemented by lecturers within the Islamic University of Riau in the implementation year 2020. If there are any deficiencies or obstacles found, they can be immediately “It will be improved so that it is hoped that in the next monitoring and evaluation implementation the percentage will be achieved more,” said the Head of LPPM UIR, Dr. Evizal Abdul Kadir, S.T, M.Eng, Wednesday (7/04/2021).

Meanwhile, Secretary of LPPM UIR Dr.Hj.Zetriuslita, S.Pd.,M.Si explained that the internal Community Service Monitoring and Evaluation (PKM) activities for lecturers for the second period, although carried out online using zoom because it was still in the atmosphere of the Covid 19 pandemic, were very enthusiastic lecturers in question and answer sessions with examiners or reviewers.

The monitoring and evaluation for the second period of 2020 was attended by 73 lecturers from all faculties at UIR, including the Faculty of Law (5 lecturers), the Faculty of FAI (9 lecturers), the Faculty of Agriculture (3 lecturers), the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (8 lecturers). Lecturers), the Faculty of Engineering has (13 lecturers), the FKIP Faculty has (26 lecturers), the Fikom Faculty has (3 lecturers), the Fekon Faculty has (5 lecturers) and the Psychology Faculty has (1 lecturer), explained Zetriuslita.

Through this internal Community Service Monitoring and Evaluation (PKM), it is hoped that the output of community service will be increased to be included in service journals as well as being reported in online media, he concluded.*
