Research and Community Service Management Workshop

Pekanbaru, DPPM: At the beginning of the new leadership of the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) of Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) held an online Research and Community Service Management Workshop which took place one day on October 26 2021, together with the DPPM of Telkom University, with resource person Dr. Runik Machfiroh, Head of Research, Data & Finance and Dr. Eng. Faisal Budiman from Telkom University.

Director of the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) Dr. Arbi Hasa Nasution, B.I.T.(Hons)., M.IT gave a speech and explained the current condition of the Riau Islamic University DPPM cluster which is in the main ranking for research, and very satisfying for service, and of course hopes to follow in the footsteps of the Telkom University DPPM which has been occupy the Mandiri Cluster. The workshop sponsored by the Riau Islamic University DPPM was opened and guided by the Secretary of the Riau Islamic University DPPM Dr. Heni Susanti, S.H., M.H and also attended by the Head of the Research Division, Dr. Dedek Andrian S.Pd., Head of Community Service Division Dr. Prima Wahyu Titisari, S.Si., M.Si M.Pd, Head of Publication Division Fiki Hidayat, S.T., M.Eng, Head of Administration Eka Mustika Putera, S.I.Kom along with DPPM staff of Riau Islamic University.

Chancellor of Riau Islamic University Prof. Dr. Syafrinaldi, SH, MCL welcomed and appreciated and provided full support for Worksop, sponsored by the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) of Riau Islamic University, to be able to maintain the Main Cluster towards the peak Cluster, namely the Mandiri Cluster.

On this occasion, the resource person who is also the manager of Telkom University’s DPPM explained that lecturers must and will always be encouraged to carry out research and service in accordance with higher education principles, through schemes that have been designed with the support of a system built to help the performance of Telkom University’s DPPM. and the two speakers also opened up opportunities for the Riau Islamic University DPPM to collaborate further in the future.
