The Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) of Universitas Islam Riau Hosts A Seminar on Internal Research Results in 2021

Pekanbaru, DPPM: In the situation of the Covid 19 pandemic, the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) of the Islamic University of Riau (UIR) again held a seminar on the results of lecturers’ internal research which lasted for 3 (three) days from 9-11 November 2021, this event carried out online (Zoom), in this case the Chancellor of the Islamic University of Riau Prof.Dr.H. Syafrinaldi, S.H., MCL gave opening remarks as well as opening the 2021 internal research results seminar at Riau Islamic University.

In his UIR Record speech, Prof. Dr. H. Syafrinaldi, SH., MCL, really appreciates and supports the program organized by DPPM UIR, of course with the hope that this Lecturer Internal Research Results Seminar will increase reputable journals and publications, and this can be a motivation for lecturers to always research and contribute to Grants Compete like Higher Education Research Grants

Seminar Activities on Internal Research Results of TA lecturers. 2020/2021 is a routine agenda carried out by DPPM every period as a form of lecturer accountability for the implementation of research activities that have been carried out, where for this period each lecturer reports the results of their research via an online system.

At the TA lecturer’s Internal Research Results Seminar. In 2020/2021, there will be around 226 lecturers at Riau Islamic University who will be reviewed by 42 UIR Internal Reviewers. “It is hoped that the implementation of the Internal Research Results Seminar for lecturers will run optimally and be able to meet the previously promised research output targets,” said the Director of DPPM UIR Dr. Arbi Haza Nasution, M.IT. Tuesday (9/11/2021).

Meanwhile, Secretary of DPPM UIR DR. Heni Susanti, S.H., M.H. explained the lecturer’s Internal Research Results Seminar activities for this period, even though it was held online using Zoom because it was still in the Covid 19 pandemic atmosphere, all participants were very enthusiastic in the presentation and question and answer session with reviewers.

Seminar on Internal Research Results of UIR TA lecturers. 2020/2021 was attended by 226 lecturers, including (12 people from the Faculty of Law), (25 people from the FAI), (26 people from the Faculty of Agriculture), (29 people from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences), (22 people from the Faculty of Engineering). ), the FKIP Faculty numbered (74 people), the Fikom Faculty numbered (10 people), the Fekon Faculty numbered (21 people) and the Psychology Faculty numbered (7 people), explained Heni Susanti.

Through this seminar on lecturers’ internal research results, it is hoped that lecturers will improve their research output to publish it in reputable international journals or accredited national journals. *EMP
